Mounted on a wall or column, the Wall-mounted Welding Smoke Filter unit is ideally suited for use at fixed welding work stations, in welding cabins and training work shops. The unit can be supplied with exhaust arms 7,10,14, 17, 20 and 24 feet in length with a diameter of 6 inches.
The extracted air is first fed into a pre-filter where large particles are captured and then through a main filter where the welding smoke is cleaned with a filter efficiency rating above 99.9 %. This means that even the smallest particles down to a size of 0.3 micron are filtered. The filter only needs to be changed once or twice a year depending on the number of working hours and the substances to be captured.
All wall mounted filter units can easily be operated by an included separate control box. The control box offers connections for an automatic start-stop and a light kit.

This unit can also be equipped with two arms (up to 24 ft length) to cover two welding stations.
The double-arm version can also be equipped with an automatic start-stop. Two start-stop clamps will be supplied, both of them can be connected to the control box of the unit.
A higher capacity is recommended with this unit if both arms are used at the same time. |

Exhaust arms with a length of 17 ft, 20 ft, and 24 ft are equipped with an additional extension arm.
This extension arm consists of a swiveling ball bearing wall bracket and a strong boom, carrying the standard exhaust arm which is installed under the extension arm. This allows the exhaust arm to swivel 360º.
The bottom of the extension arm is fitted with a C-profile to carry 111 lbs: wire feeder units, cables, air tools, etc. This prevents accidents caused by cables and tools lying on the shop floor. |
